Congratulations to all the successful applicants for the Commerce Solar+Storage for Resilient Communities grants! These grants support installation and planning work for solar-plus-storage systems in schools, community centers, libraries, and other buildings owned by local, state, and tribal governments and non-profits in Washington.
Säzän Group had the opportunity to support several applicants selected for over $4 million in grants funding microgrid installation and feasibility studies. More information about this vital grant program and our role as a statewide technical consultant with Spark Northwest and MZ Solar Consulting is available on the Commerce website: https://www.commerce.wa.gov/growing-the-economy/energy/solar-plus-storage/
Really grateful for our team members, including Joel Davis, Jack Newman, Tom Bowen, Michiel Zuidweg, Veena Prasad, and their efforts toward helping communities secure these opportunities for a more resilient future.
