2026 DJC Oregon Top Projects

Säzän Group provided MEP engineering design services on three of this year's award-winning projects!

Our team is proud to be part of multiple projects honored at the 2026 DJC Oregon Top Projects Awards, held at the iconic Oregon Convention Center in Portland. It was a wonderful evening of connection, celebration, and well-earned recognition for so many outstanding project teams across the Pacific Northwest. Säzän Group provided MEP engineering, lighting design, and sustainability services on three of this year’s award-winning projects. While there were three awards, four buildings featured our team’s work. Here’s a look at each:

Washington County Center for Addictions Triage and Treatment (CATT), Beaverton & Hillsboro Recovery Centers

The CATT program addresses a critical gap in Oregon, which ranks 48th in the nation for access to substance use treatment. The program spans two buildings: the Beaverton Recovery Center, a 40,600 SF facility offering 86 treatment beds across residential, withdrawal management, sobering, and transitional services; and the Hillsboro Recovery Center, a 42,000 SF renovation housing outpatient services, crisis services, behavioral health offices, a peer drop-in lounge, and a medical clinic. City of Phoenix, Government & Public Safety Center

Designed as part of a rebuilding effort from destruction caused by the 2020 Alameda Fire, this 24,000 SF, two-story building brings City Hall, the police department, and the fire station together under one roof for the first time—acting as both a community hub and emergency operations center. Säzän Group designed the mechanical, electrical, lighting, plumbing, fire/life safety, and ICT systems, and conducted a whole-building energy analysis that yielded $38,000 in Energy Trust of Oregon incentives. Gresham-Barlow School District, Student Health Center

This compact, 2,400 SF ground-up facility provides free medical, behavioral health, and dental services to all students in the Gresham-Barlow School District. The building features exam rooms, a behavioral health room, a lab, and a welcoming lobby, thoughtfully designed to maximize privacy and operational efficiency in a small footprint. Funded through the American Recovery from Pandemic Act, it’s a powerful example of health equity in action.
