Responsive, Efficient Lighting Design

The lighting design responds to varied programmatic and code requirements while balancing patient comfort, budget, integrated controls, and a cohesive aesthetic. Patient areas primarily utilize recessed or tightly suspended direct lighting to support a calm, unobtrusive atmosphere, while staff and support spaces employ suspended direct/indirect luminaires to enhance visual comfort and functionality.

Energy efficiency was a key driver in choosing luminaires resulting in 38% below energy code requirements. Ligature- and tamper-resistant luminaires were integrated where safety was a concern, without compromising design quality.

The overall result of our scope of work provides a welcoming environment that maintains safety and clinical performance.
