Recovery Innovations International (RI) is known for its approach to creating inviting spaces for recovery without the traditional look and feel of a behavioral hospital.

RI's Baton Rouge Campus of Connection, Bridge Center for Hope, offers multiple services in one location to enhance immediate access to facility-based behavioral health crisis intervention and treatment that can serve as a center of excellence for the rest of the nation.

Design disciplines collaborated closely with the owners, operators, and contractors to design and build a trusted, long-lasting community resource. Säzän Group was tasked with providing mechanical and electrical design, implementing their unconventional approach to recovery.

The project remodeled 25,000 SF of retail space into a 24-hour behavioral health facility. The scope included remodeling the common spaces, adding showers to patient restrooms, and creating a new entry. Plumbing fixtures were selected to be secure and anti-ligature while providing an elegant and inviting finish.
