Port of Seattle Sustainability Audits On-call

Starting in 2020, Säzän Group began a five-year, $3 million Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with the Port of Seattle to identify, plan, and implement sustainability improvements.

This included determining ways to reduce energy use, utility costs, and greenhouse gas emissions. This IDIQ contract’s purpose is to advance the Port of Seattle’s goal to be greenest port in North America. Some examples include a Solar Feasibility Study assessing 50 locations to determine where to install solar photovoltaic arrays, energy auditing services to confirm following the City of Seattle's Tune-up program, and performing HVAC system investigations.
