Klamath Tribal Health Center
The Klamath Tribes comprise the Klamath, Modoc, and Yahooskin Peoples. Their mission is to protect, preserve, and enhance spiritual, cultural, and physical values and resources by maintaining the customs and heritage of their ancestors. They seek to provide social and economic opportunities for tribe members.
The opening of the Klamath Tribal Health & Family Services Center is a step toward providing more accessible healthcare to its members and surrounding communities. The development was 100% funded by the Klamath Tribes, underlining its commitment to invest in healthcare for their Peoples.
The extensive renovation converted a 1990s-era single-story call center into a modern medical facility. The satellite clinic offers medical, behavioral health, dental, and pharmacy services. Behavioral health services are provided through a Youth & Family Guidance Center and outpatient mental health and substance abuse programs. In addition to the main building, site work included a sweat lodge and playground.
Säzän Group provided full mechanical, electrical, and plumbing, building technologies systems, and lighting design services. As part of the scope, investigations determined the adequacy and the feasibility of reusing existing mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems to minimize construction costs.
