East Kapolei Middle School, Environmental Consulting Services

Serving as Hawaii's HI-CHPS coordinator, Säzän Group provided sustainability leadership and compliance oversight to help deliver a high-performing middle school designed to serve more than 1,000 students.

Säzän Group provided environmental consulting services to Ferraro Choi Architects for the new East Kapolei Middle School, helping the project meet Hawaii Collaborative for High Performance Schools (HI-CHPS) requirements and state regulations. Completed in multiple phases, the campus was designed to accommodate 1,050 students.

Serving as the state's HI-CHPS coordinator, Säzän Group provided sustainability expertise and compliance oversight throughout design and construction. The team facilitated workshops to help project stakeholders understand HI-CHPS requirements, tracked progress toward compliance, and provided construction administration support to ensure project goals were achieved.
