Designed by Frank Gehry, these high-tech offices on Lake Union in Seattle have an open layout that fosters the transparent culture that characterizes the organization.
Säzän Group provided mechanical, electrical, and technology design and engineering services within the new 10-story office building.
The new offices include collaborative work areas, breakout and conference rooms, large assembly spaces, kitchen and dining facilities, and large outdoor heated decks.
Mechanical engineering met stringent City of Seattle energy codes. The design included variable air volume HVAC, computer room cooling, commercial kitchen equipment hoods and plumbing, and HVAC duct acoustic noise dampening. Working closely with the project’s acoustical consultant and the architect, Säzän Group met the owner’s strict requirements for acoustic privacy.
The electrical design included standard and emergency power, an arc flash study, interior and exterior lighting, audio/video, and fire alarm systems. This fast-track project had design and construction proceeding concurrently to meet the tenant’s aggressive move-in schedule.
