In his 25+ year career, Tyler has experienced many facets of the AEC industry working for architecture, engineering, and contracting firms. As the BIM Manager for Oregon, he is responsible for managing teams, setting up Revit models and drawings, and creating Revit content. Since learning Revit in 2007, his roles over the years have allowed him to gain a unique understanding of the goals of each user and how to improve workflow. He uses this knowledge to work with clients to ensure each design specialty meets its needs to complete the project.

Well-versed in industry speak across disciplines, Tyler seamlessly communicates with the architect, subconsultants, and internal design teams on each project. He believes better information management not only improves the design process, it builds better working relationships. With a demonstrated expertise in 2D CAD and 3D Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, and clash detection, Tyler can troubleshoot model issues and streamline processes. He is constantly looking to uphold best practices to leverage the most efficient use of these technologies throughout the project lifecycle.

Tyler is part of the Portland Revit User Group. He also aims to add his architecture license to his list of accomplishments, studying for the ARE in his spare time.
