Shane Doig is a Commissioning Manager with extensive experience in project management. Shane grew up with a passion for engineering and problem-solving. Throughout his career, he has been involved in numerous high-profile projects such as P-834 Seawolf Pier Extension, Building Commissioning and Energy Audit for the Washington Military Department, and Highline High School Replacement project a few – showcasing his skills in project management, planning, and execution. As a Commissioning Manager, Shane has been responsible for ensuring that new projects are completed to the highest standards, working closely with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that every aspect of the project is completed on time and within budget.
He has been conducting and managing the commissioning process since 2003. Shane has commissioned many LEED-certified projects and brings a strong focus on municipal, K-12, and industrial work, with expertise in new and existing building commissioning, Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems, building diagnostics, building design reviews, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building envelopes.
Shane is active in several industry organizations, including the Association for Learning Environments (A4LE), the WA Association of Maintenance & Operation Administrators (WAMOA), and the Building Commissioning Association (BCA).
In his free time, Shane enjoys snowboarding, golfing, and coaching youth soccer, and he is also actively involved in his local community, volunteering his time and expertise to charitable causes.
