Scott brings a unique combination of operational, financial, and technical expertise to Säzän Group. His career began as a Naval Nuclear Surface Warfare Officer, where he developed a disciplined, system-based approach to problem-solving, leadership, management and organizational performance.
As Managing Principal of Operations, Scott oversees company financial planning/budgeting, financial reporting, forecasting, and the operational systems that support teams across the firm. His primary responsibilities include leading the Accounting, Human Resources, and IT teams. Scott is the firm's Deltek Vantagepoint System Administrator, leading system enhancements, dashboard development, and CRM implementation efforts. He also helped develop and implement planning and forecasting tools that provide leadership with greater visibility into project and company performance.
Scott earned a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Tulane University.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys cooking, running, cycling, and international travel, particularly to visit family in Italy.
