Roy Nudo

Roy is Säzän Group’s Principal for Business Development and is integral to maintaining close client relationships. He has more than 30 years of experience in mechanical design, project management, and construction services in the Puget Sound region. He is known for being a trusted team builder and strategic doer with years of building business in the AEC industry.

Roy attended the University of Washington to pursue aeronautical engineering, but his passion led him to the AEC industry. While a technical designer, he had a unique skillset with client interactions leading him to project management. He evolved into a full-time business development role where his strengths really shine.
Roy is active within his community; he has been a board member of the Association of Filipino-American Engineers of Washington (AFEW) and the Filipino Chamber of Commerce of the Pacific Northwest (FCCPNW) for more than a decade, and he is one of the founders of a new organization, Filipino Construction Professionals (FCP). To name a few, he is affiliated with the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), Mt. Tacoma Post, Washington State Society for Healthcare Engineering (WSSHE), Oregon Society for Healthcare Engineering (OSHE), and Association for Learning Environments.

Roy often states that his job is opening doors. That ability has brought value to the company by making important introductions leading to lasting flourishing relationships. He is dedicated to client satisfaction and nurturing successful business relationships. For Roy, it is all about building trust and relationships to be successful in business development and achieving positive project outcomes.
