High-Rises and Mission Critical

With 25 years of mechanical design and commissioning experience, David approaches each problem with the desired outcome front and center. David has designed many mechanical systems for mission critical applications including aviation projects, life-science laboratories, high-density data centers, geothermal systems, material handling systems, and central utility plants in the Seattle area. Within his field experience, David works diligently to understand the space constraints and installation challenges. He maintains that system designs should address all long-term maintenance considerations to provide engineering value. As a LEED Accredited Professional and Certified Commissioning Agent, David applies his expertise in sustainable building by focusing on the design of energy-efficient systems and leading projects toward LEED certification.

David is an active member of American Society of Heating, Refrigeration Air Conditioning Engineers. He enjoys boating in his free time and has explored many waterways in Washington and around the world, including the Gauley, Grand Canyon, Futaleufú, Hokitika, and Kaituna. Recently, he prefers kayaking in the calmer waters of the Salish Sea. David values raising kids who are comfortable on and in the water and plans to teach them to sail next.
