APWA Arizona Chapter Award: 2023 Project of the Year

We are thrilled that the City of Mesa Monterey Park Expansion project has been honored with the APWA Arizona Chapter Award for the 2023 Project of the Year in the Structures $5-25M category!
As part of Architectural Resource Team’s design team, we provided mechanical and plumbing design for a self-service library and a 1,000 SF custom restroom building at the existing Monterey Park. The pop-up library is mechanically ventilated, sprinklered, and required power and data. The restroom is a type V-B construction utilizing masonry and steel structure with 8 stalls total. The building was sprinklered and the scope required adequate plumbing chase and storage.
