Design-build in biotech, commercial, corporate campus, and higher education markets
Mark joined Säzän Group as Director of Engineering in our Seattle office. He has nearly three decades of experience leading design-build engineering teams across biotech, commercial, corporate campus, and higher education markets. He also spent two years leading a projects team within a mechanical and plumbing service group at a design-build firm. With a strong background in mentorship and staff development, he will be focused on aligning Säzän Group’s work with client outcomes and building teams for future success. His portfolio includes the award-winning WSU North Puget Sound Campus building in Everett and the renovation of Thomas S. Foley United States Courthouse in Spokane.
A true servant leader, Mark brings value to our team by looking for ways to solve problems, remove roadblocks, and ensure we’re doing what’s right for both our clients and our firm. He’s passionate about people, helping others see beyond their roles to unlock their full potential.
Mark is an active member of WSU Everett Industry Advisory Board, ACE Mentors Board, and within his local church. Outside of the office, he enjoys coaching 1st/2nd grade basketball with his son and hanging out with family. He loves being outdoors while hiking, snow skiing, and playing golf.
