The U.S. Department of Energy Office of Indian Energy is accepting applications for the FY2025 Tribal Clean Energy Planning and Development. This is a unique opportunity to secure funding for projects that advance energy sovereignty, resiliency, and sustainability for Tribal Nations.

What Can Be Funded?

• Conduct Tribal clean energy planning
• Comprehensively assess the feasibility and viability of deploying clean energy technology on Tribal lands; or
• Conduct clean energy project design and development activities for deployment on Tribal buildings or Tribal lands

How Much Can Be Funded?

• $25 million is available from the US DOE
• 20-40 Awards with a minimum of $100,000 and maximum of $2,500,000 per award
• Cost share: 0% to 10%, depending on eligibility
