New Medical Office Building Breaks Ground in Goodyear, AZ

October 2024

The City of Goodyear is set to welcome a cutting-edge medical office building that will bring vital healthcare services to the growing community. Located near the Goodyear Civic Square at GSQ, this 62,400 SF, three-story facility is poised to become a hub for medical professionals and residents.

In partnership with Ryan Companies, Butler Design Group, and Devenney Group, Säzän Group is delivering high-performance mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering solutions for this modern medical facility. The project features a 20,000 SF floor plate and includes core and shell system designs for the site. Our design prepares the space with essential building systems and infrastructure to support future medical tenants. The building’s core areas, including restrooms and elevator lobbies, are designed to be functional and adaptable to the evolving needs of healthcare providers.

Our design for the main MEP systems serves the entire building and promotes long-term efficiency and flexibility for tenant-specific needs like mechanical connections, lighting, distribution, and waste and water mains. Life-safety systems, including minimal lighting in shell spaces, ensure the safety and comfort of the facility’s users.

This medical office building is a testament to Goodyear’s growth and commitment to enhancing healthcare access for its residents. With a focus on sustainable design and future adaptability, our team is excited to contribute to a facility that will serve the city’s community for years to come. The building is expected to be completed by the fall of 2025.
