Western State Hospital New Forensic Hospital

This augmentation to Western State Hospital’s 31-acre campus serves Washington state’s vision of transforming behavioral health to better serve its patients. The Forensic Center of Excellence will be a secure facility that provides state-of-the-art care for forensic patients while partnering with local academic institutions to support research and innovation. This new, 350-bed hospital is approximately 495,481 SF and includes a new office annex of approximately 23,698 SF.

Säzän Group is providing ICT services that include wired and wireless networking service, emergency DAS, a real-time locator, paging systems, audio/visual layout, and access control security systems which include surveillance both within the facilities and for the exterior site. Lighting design services encompassed both interior and exterior lighting for the new buildings as well as exterior lighting for the site.
