Mount Vernon Library Commissioning

Säzän Group provided commissioning services for a new 28,000 SF Library Commons in Mount Vernon, a combined parking structure, library, and community center.

The City designed this project to be a catalyst for downtown development. The new library will better meet the needs of the growing community, including a children’s library, a quiet reading room, a teen & STEM center, three study rooms, and an art gallery space. The library and community center will provide comfortable and usable space to support our growing community.

The project included efficient air to water heating/ cooling technology, carport and building adhered solar array and is pursuing PHIUS certification.
