Säzän Group provided full electrical engineering services for a three-story, 54,000 SF expansion and addition to the Silverdale Medical Center campus in Silverdale. The new orthopedic and joint replacement surgery center serves Kitsap County and includes four surgery rooms, pre-op and post-op areas, doctor’s offices, nursing stations, rehabilitation gym, a 44-bed patient wing on the second floor, and a rehab gym.

The electrical design included a new 300 kW emergency generator for life safety and critical loads, normal power distribution, lighting design for the new wing, and exterior lighting for a parking lot expansion. Energy efficient products and systems were specified throughout, including occupancy sensors, daylight sensors, and LED landscape and pole mounted parking lot fixtures.

Säzän Group assisted the contractor with long lead time equipment procurement to streamline the tight design assist construction schedule.
