Relocate Modular Office Buildings

The Boeing Company

Seattle to Paine Field, Everett, Washington

Prime consultant; led team of architecture, structural, and civil subconsultants; project management, full mechanical and electrical engineering and design, and construction management.

This fast-track project involved relocating two modular buildings to Paine Field in Everett to create 20,000 SF of new office space needed for the 787 production program. Säzän Group was responsible for the relocation, including transportation planning and move management, completely remodeling the buildings, and managing a full subconsultant team.

The project included installation of a new electrical substation, extensive site work for access/egress stairs and ramps on a sloping site, and a total renovation of the modular buildings' interiors, mechanical and electrical systems. The perimeter security fence at the Boeing site was also modified to accommodate the buildings.
