Sultan Foundry Facility Power Upgrades

Säzän provided the design of power system capacity increases for construction by an electrical contractor on a fast-track expansion of the Sultan Foundry’s power service and distribution systems.

The project modified the existing power system by addition of a 12.47-kV to 480-Volt transformer and 480-Volt circuit breaker distribution switchboards. The backup generator distribution and the normal power distribution were changed to accommodate plant machinery upgrades.
