Riverpark Mixed-Use Development
Riverpark is a $45 million, five-building mixed-use development in downtown Redmond, WA. The six-acre project includes a medical office building, apartment building, hotel, a condominium building, and street-level retail spaces for restaurants and boutiques. The buildings were built over a 207,000 SF podium with below and above ground parking, extensive hardscape, and landscaping.
Säzän Group provided electrical engineering for site utilities and electrical power distribution to the buildings and site podium. Work also included electrical systems design for the core-and-shell and tenant improvements for the new Group Health Cooperative medical office building.
Project Challenges and how we met them:
An extensive multi-disciplinary project team required close collaboration between Säzän and multiple team members. Electrical engineering was successfully coordinated with our client, Prime Electric, and three different architects.
