
Hillsboro School District, Glencoe High School Addition & Remodel
Sazan is providing Electrical and Mechanical Engineering for a 36,000 SF addition and a 6,800 SF remodel/expansion to an existing Hillsboro high school. The addition includes a media center, counseling center, and 15 health and science classrooms and labs. Other areas designed for additional space and general improvements include the weight room, outdoor covered training, team rooms, a new roof, and an improved front entry to the school.
The expansion design includes common areas, outdoor covered eating area, and storage areas for tables and chairs. The remodel is an expansion of the district’s Career and Technical Education’s (CTE) graphic design, early childhood education, business, finance, health science, and construction and metal shop programs.
Säzän is providing electrical utilities coordination, HVAC upgrades, plumbing upgrades, fire protection, and seismic upgrades for this $17 million project.
